I heavily disagree. Nvidia has a strong interest in open source AI being a strong contender to proprietary models. They don't want a single AI company to win, as that company would then have enormous leverage over Nvidia, and could perhaps even erode the Cuda moat with their own chip spending. Disagree. When it comes to AI, mvidia has been one of the most open labs. They open source a lot things and are open to contributions

I also see this as an antitrust case, but to see that, you need to be much more up to date on technology than anyone who decides such things.
It's comparable to the biggest bank buying the biggest ratings agency.

NVidia has a strong interest in profit. The only reason we are allowed to live in chip shangri-la is because they can make a profit out of it, nothing else.
