I would argue that many companies would in fact be better off disappearing for a year, rather than constantly thrashing the company to chase the latest trend.

And judging from the ZIRP hiring sprees and tokenmaxxing, CEOs are more often the driving force behind wasteful spending than they are the safeguards against it...

One person isn't a company. Legally maybe, but there's no point in a company if you can profitably do all the labor yourself.

I think it's pretty fun. Worker cooperatives no longer need different ranks of executive officers. They can all be peers with different functions. So if worker cooperatives are going to succeed in the US, they have pretty good conditions right now.

My SVP is 6'4". 6 measly feet aint cutting it, that's just "king of manlets" territory.

Blame xyz for things that didn't work out. These are all impossible tasks for AI. AI can't play golf.

Chinese humanoid robots are 3 years out from playing a decent round on a par 3 course.

Therefore, their responsibilities are technically everything in the entire company. And I think many people who have only worked for other people underestimate how valuable that responsibility is.

Rewponsibility is why we pay external consultants!
