A lotta highly processed foods combined with most people seeming to be unaware of the impact my friend FIBER has on your poop, in terms of both stool solidity and speed of evacuation! Seriously, if you spend a lot of time going #2, adding a fiber supplement will give you most of that time back!

During the lockdowns, my local Catholic parish office indicated to me that they held some TP in reserve, in case any parishioners got desperate during the shortages. There were really problematic runs on items like that in every store in our area. Of course, if you had excess TP, it was also a good strategic donation, for the less fortunate. I contemplated a bidet during the lockdowns, and some YouTubers were touting…
A) Don't flush your wet wipes please. They go in the trash bin.
B) They make bidets that are trivial to install/remove. I have one that connects inline with the water lines and it took like 4 minutes to install. But you can also get a portable one. They range from squirt bottle for your bum to fancy battery powered devices with USB-c charging.

Those numbers sound insane to me. This is almost half a roll per day, for a single person? Can any average american or german person comment on how this actually works? Do you wipe like 15 times per visit, or is it just a very high amount (folded?) of sheets per wipe?
Janitor comes around after business hours and changes any/every roll that isn't damn near full.
Best janitor I've experienced would replace low rolls with new and then set the low roll on top of the dispenser. Of course, the dispenser was the correct shape to allow for that

I'd say poor diet and obesity result in greater toilet paper use. But we can also expect American to use more than India, for stereotypical reasons.
High fiber is supposed to be a good diet, and leads to larger/looser bowel movements.

Unfortunately I don't have electrical in my toilet closet in my master bath. I'd totally do it though.
You only need electricity if you want heated water, I’d guess that a bidet comes with a tee fitting with a valve on the T side that goes in between the supply valve and toilet supply line, allowing the supply valve to provide water to both the toilet and bidet.

#69Bidets need to become the norm. Canada's massive logging and mineral extraction industries have lead to significantly reduced tree-cover and (in some places) long term deforestation.
Moving from the east to west recently the rarity of and aversion to bidets is one of the strangest things to see in the western world.

It comes down to how a roll is calculated. See in the US 1 material roll is not the same as 1 computed roll. In the Toilet Paper isle you see products listing their 8 roles are equillivent to 36 rolls from the other guy. So when you use 1/16 of your roll, you are really using 1/2 a roll
