Re: Show HN: MTL Explorer – Self-hosted archive for GPS tracks

Hi HN,

As a biker and hiker, I have thousands of Garmin tracks and wanted to see them together on one map.

I started building this in 2020. It is self-hosted and includes track exploration, statistics, photos, segments, and route planning. I recently published it on GitHub and used AI tools to improve the UX.

It runs with Docker Compose and uses Vue, TypeScript, Spring Boot, PostGIS, MapLibre, and BRouter.

The GitHub page has a short video and a live demo with no login:

Feedback welcome.

Cheers Patrick.
