What is it with Serbians and always supporting war crimes and genocide? Serbia deserved to be bombed (and more), your argument does not work.
Phrasing it as "X deserved to be bombed" is needlessly inflammatory. I agree that something had to be done and that given the choice between inaction like in Bosnia and the NATO intervention like we for Kosovo, I'd easily pick the latter. It's even plausible that the NATO intervention was close to the best that could be done and any harm was a "necessary evil". However, saying that the civilian population of the undemocratic Yugoslav state deserved to have their lives disrupted by being bombed (or worse??) is just cruel.
I don't think your comment will convince the previous poster or (most importantly) unrelated third parties.
(For the record: the implicit comparison between the Russian invasion of the Ukraine and the NATO intervention in Serbia, by the previous poster _is_ IMO deeply dismaying.)
I can still read most paywalled articles by either blocking JS or digging into the HTML source code. I wish the browser could handle this issue by wgetting the source and decoding it without giving away any information about the visitor

- Out of the box, search result quality is comparable to Google
- Search is slow. Latency for most queries is about a second. Sometimes 3 seconds. Google is shockingly fast in comparison.
- Personalized results is a killer feature (blocking, boosting and suppressing domains)
- There is no iOS app. Only one in beta that is seemingly abandoned.
- Their site/app design is just passable at best
- Their AI quick answers give solid answers and are pretty concise

I thought the Kagi API was entirely pay-as-you-go. EDIT: I see I have $5 of "pre-paid API credit". Is this a one-time thing or is that included with my plan?
I also see $5 API credits. I would also like to know if this is part of my $10 subscription each month. Edit: this is a one-time promotional credit. One must pay for credits thereafter, in addition to their subscription.
I tested on my local LLM chat via Open WebUI, 2 requests from that cost $0.02 (so $4.98 left), and after my monthly Kagi renewal an hour ago, it did not reset, I am still on $4.98.
You are probably better off using Kagi Assistant anyways, as you get $10 there on the $10 Professional plan.
For local LLM web searches, to save on cost I will stick with the Brave Search API which gives you $5 free every month.
