+1000. There should be bounties for open sourcing drivers/apps like these and generally making 'clean'/better interfaces to hardware devices, now that it's so much easier. Nice try, Casio. However the Amazfit Neo does the same, and more features (like heart rate and sleep measuring) for a similar price. I like mine quite a lot.

True (and can confirm) but this assumes a lifetime's habit of interchanging the two.

It doesn't take long to learn to interchange. If you start today you won't be doing it tommorow, but if you keep it up in a few months you will. At least for the common times - you might have to think about what 10pm is if you normally go to bed before then.

Obviously this is completely subjective, but to me that one you linked is SO much uglier than the other. I'd hate to have that on my wrist, whereas the one this whole submission is about I'd probably buy to replace my Oura ring if it had sleep tracking, heart rate monitor etc. rather than just step count

It’s not quite the same when a schoolchild or a farmer has to figure out different train timetable formats depending on the railway company. It was the 1980s, and these were the first affordable watches available…

The SNCF doesn’t change its format when you travel to Brittany or Alsace.
