A feature that no one is talking about but which is even cooler: You can use the same technology to a) directly simulate color blindness (drive the L and M cones with the same signal) and b) in theory drive subsets of a dichromat's L cones with derived L- and M- cone amplitudes - does that make them sort of trichromatic? (I've had one myself for my whole life, a 'crystal worm'. I usually don't notice it, fortunately, but once it a while it will noticeably drift into my field of view while looking at a bright, blank field - like the blue sky or a monochrome computer screen.)

Ok I watched the red green picture first and was getting pretty impressed that some type of optical illusion was making the circle appear smaller and smaller to me until it vanished!
Then I realized that wasn’t an optical illusion and instead just part of the setup…
