I am working on yet another local code context tool [0]. But I am trying to go the extra mile by having extra features like better review, automated testing, performance work and everything being agent first. Still trying to find the gaps of where this tool can add value vs just using codex/claude directly. Making it faster, better & more reliable may not be the only direction. Apart from that, I have been tinkering with a lot of small experiments [1]

Building myself a replacement for Git Tower. I've been using version 2 for about 8 years now, refusing to pay a subscription for the newer versions. It's finally getting long in the tooth, so building myself a new application that does all the things the modern git GUIs can do.

I have just landed a much better job in a bank, considerably safer in the stumbling IT job market. But I start to feel bored for an office work, it is still quite challenging and interesting, but I have a bit less passion compare to before. I have started two side projects last year, one online AI tool didn't go well, as I am not good at marketing, or the idea is not right. Another one is open source AI thing, which I am now trying to publicise it. This time I am trying to strategically market it, by creating a "boss" agent to guide me to do marketing. I hope my "boss" can do better than me.

And it asked me today to register in Hacker News and start some genuine interactions, so here I am, while I am requested, but this comments is genuine what I want to say.

I’m working on many things. Right now, I have a 3D cat app waiting for approval from Apple. Today, I want to share another project: a black hole website where you can throw in your thoughts. So far, it has swallowed 1,205 thoughts. I think it’s fun. Sometimes, when I feel upset, I write something down and drop it into the black hole. Afterwards, I feel a little lighter. Maybe you can try it too: https://blackhole.echoscarrie.com/

Most recently been expanding our REST API and MCP server to support building almost any widget, making it possible for people to use their favorite AI agent with Produktly.
