How do you think you will change culture or politics? In the US, money IS the culture. Politics go where the money goes.
Money can buy influence such as media and access to influence culture and politics. There’s a number of non-profits that work on this angle you could support. LCV, CCL, CATF etc.

Fun fact: smaller chunks (less than 15m) are called "bergy bits".
