About Ads in Notifications on Facebook in Meta Ads Manager

I get that this is a revenue grab, but I can’t understand how any PM would allow their product to degrade to a point where they’re selling slots in notification trays to advertisers.

Once ads start appearing in notifications, the utility of them drops significantly.
