Free speech isn't free of consequences. Rights come with responsibilities and understanding where someone's rights may stop and someone else's rights might begin.

Speaking anything you want may engender consequences. There are consequences for sure, which will often result in personal suffering (change to relationships, work, etc). The one thing you won't suffer is being arrested by your government for saying it...unless you're Comey (86 47) or Lux Claridge (clapping) or Anna King (arrested by national guard) or a host of other abuses of power under this administration and social environment.

Free speech has always been about getting the government and organizations with government-level power out of the way. It's not about interpersonal mandates.

People don't have a right to not hear things they don't like. Why is why direct calls to violence are (or should be) the only things prohibited in liberal societies.

Yep. Someone else is being flagged for mocking this Veri advertisement but it's absolutely AI generated and (more to the point) not reviewed or edited by a human.
