25 years of shipping software. I co-founded an e-commerce company that became the leader of its category in Brazil and today does 7 figures a month in revenue; as CTO I built the store, the payment integrations, and the logistics platform from scratch and scaled them through the growth years. Since then, senior and staff roles at US SaaS companies: modernizing legacy systems nobody else wanted to touch, leading architecture work that entire orgs adopted, cutting an infrastructure bill by an order of magnitude. These days I work on financial systems moving eight figures a month.

Domain-wise I've gone deep in payments and billing, healthcare, e-commerce, and publishing/martech, almost all of it B2B SaaS.

I'm an AI product engineer and sometimes-founder w/ 15+ years of experience across full stack web, native, mostly startups. I have been building agent systems and I have been at it long enough to know where they break, and I am a lifelong continual learner and striver.

Currently co-founder and CTO at Valara, bootstrapped and pre-revenue, where I built an AI-native orchestrated workflow product that reviews commercial and residential real estate appraisals for lenders. I turn my co-founder's and our design partners' experiences into product features.

Before that: a little more than two years at Uni Industries building AI, agent, and data plugins across two products, including an agent harness w/ structured tool use, skill systems, and eval pipelines.

In 2023 I shipped waggledance.ai, an open-source multi-agent system with DAG-based planning and parallel execution, before things like LangGraph or reasoning models existed. Earlier I was senior iOS at Curtsy (crash-free sessions from 99% to 99.9% at hundreds of thousands of MAU) and the first mobile engineer at Pluto TV, pre-seed through Series B, with the mobile/OTT team that I help lead there driving a lot of the early traction and growth, which eventually led to an exit in 2019.

---

I'm looking for a former-founder, senior, or staff IC role building AI products people actually use, or will use soon. Strongest on TypeScript, frontend, UX, agent architecture, and SDLC/ADLC.

I'm an AI/ML Systems Engineer specializing in high-performance deployments. Most recently I've built RL environments for frontier labs like OpenAI and Google DeepMind. Previously I've built distributed AI classifier systems handling 30K QPS, designed a neural network for Rocket League gameplay, and created platforms that cut model deployment time from 6 months to 6 hours. Saved $500K/yr in infrastructure costs through optimization at previous role. Former technical founder with experience in humanoid robotics and AI writing assistance. I write about my projects and musings on my Substack: https://thelisowe.substack.com/

Seeking roles focusing on FDE, post-training, or full-stack AI/ML systems engineering.

Technologies: PHP, Laravel, Javascript, Python

Résumé/CV: Please email for details.

I have been working for the past five years for a large online marketplace based in Northern Ireland. Mainly backend work, maintaining and writing new scrapers for data ingest, writing database migrations for new features, fixing bugs on the frontend, adding new features on the frontend. Have spent most of the past year writing tests for frontend, hence the wish to move on to a more development-based role.

Enjoy learning new technologies. Currently developing a game for Playdate in Lua.

Platform / DevOps / SRE engineer with 3+ years of experience owning production infrastructure in startup teams.

I am useful when a team needs someone to take messy infrastructure, deployment, cost, observability, or reliability problems and make them boring.

Recent proof: At RestoreAI, I own cloud infrastructure for an AI product across dev, staging, prod, and preview. Recently reduced dev/staging AWS spend from about $700/day to $200/day by rightsizing GPU workloads and removing stale Kubernetes/ECS resources.

At GlueX Protocol, I worked on production blockchain/RPC and data infrastructure across multiple EVM chains. Reduced AWS cost by 45%, improved API latency from around 2s to under 250ms, and built observability with Prometheus/Grafana/Loki.

Projects: ShipCheck: deployment readiness checker for live web apps. https://shipcheck.krissemmy.com/

KraiNode: RPC diagnostics and benchmarking tool used by 450+ engineers. https://krainode.krissemmy.com/

Best fit: platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, cloud infrastructure, AI infrastructure, data infrastructure, production reliability, technical operations, or infrastructure-heavy support engineering.

I am a recent MS Computer Engineering grad (SJSU, May 2026) looking for infrastructure, platform, DevOps, or AI systems engineering roles. At Syngenta I scaled AWS infrastructure across 100+ accounts, built reusable Terraform modules now used by 50+ teams, and drove roughly $500K in annual cost savings through resource optimization. At State Street I built a RAG-based internal AI system on Confluence data plus Terraform automation tooling that cut manual deployment effort by 60%. More recently I built Magpie, a multi-agent tool that won Most Innovative Use of Agents at the Harness hackathon at the AWS Builder Loft, and a working MCP server from scratch. I like owning systems end to end, from design to production, especially where reliability and performance have real consequences. Happy to work onsite, hybrid, or remote.
