Is this about technical blogs where the image is either of technical nature or something else?

I'd think in the former case it doesn't matter and it's mostly the text I care about to be interesting and personal. I don't read non technical blogs so I don't know what if ai images are a turnoff.

People noticed, they just didn’t want cause a conflict over it.

My bias is that I'm tired of people being mad at Musk/Zuckerberg/Altman/Amodei for being jerks (undisputed), and corrupt politicians allowing data centers to be put where they really shouldn't while offloading externalities onto the local population (also undisputed) and using that to attack people using a tool.

Imagine if Kobalt, Craftsman and DeWalt were scummy as fuck, and a bunch of people went around on the internet shit talking anyone who used power tools, and calling anything they built with them trash. That's the reality we're in now.

If you're writing about something which exists in reality, then it is possible to take a photo of it. If you're writing about something which doesn't exist in reality, then it shouldn't be accompanied by any image.

Stock photos or AI generated images are always wrong. Real photos, no matter how bland, convey information from reality and are always right.
