I'm a freelance iOS engineer specializing in augmented reality, computer vision, and spatial AI. I develop on-device AR/CV for Apple platforms – or any type of iOS/macOS app. I've also shipped three visionOS apps and several enterprise client visionOS explorations.
I've built for solo founders, startups later acquired by OpenAI & Shopify, and R&D teams at large corporations. Several apps I've built have been featured by Apple.
Latest solo project: minimap – a realtime 3D map of your home (i.e. a live digital twin) that renders the people inside it in 3D (demo vid: https://youtu.be/86vGyX5AL94).
Technologies:
- AR/CV/Spatial: ARKit, RealityKit, RoomPlan, multi-camera relocalization, LiDAR scene reconstruction, 3D Gaussian splatting, photogrammetry, object tracking, semantic segmentation, person segmentation, depth estimation, image saliency, Metal, Enterprise APIs, room tracking, Object Capture, Vision framework, VideoToolbox, world tracking, Reality Composer Pro, Shader Graph
- Apple: Swift, SwiftUI, SwiftData, Network framework, AVFoundation
- ML: Core AI, CoreML, Create ML
- AI/LLM: OpenAI API, Claude, Gemini
- Backend: CloudKit, RevenueCat, Convex, Supabase, Firebase, Firestore

I’m a generalist engineer with 5+ years of experience taking difficult, ambiguous problems from 0 -> 1. I lead protocol engineering at a Web3 startup but available to join immediately. I’ve worked across distributed systems, networking, backend infrastructure, production reliability, real-time systems, peer-to-peer protocols and technical architecture.
My experience spans backend and distributed systems, protocol design, cloud infrastructure, databases, developer tooling, fullstack product development and also AI native systems such as RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, tool integrated LLMs, vector search and evaluation systems for various side projects which are also in production.
I’m comfortable moving across layers, learning unfamiliar systems quickly and taking ownership from architecture through implementation and production. I work well in early stage environments, but I’m equally comfortable joining established teams, adapting to existing systems and contributing wherever the hardest problems are.
Open to software engineering, backend, distributed systems, protocol engineering, AI native product engineering and founding or early engineering roles.

5+ years of frontend engineering, most recently focused on AI/Agent product frontends. At my current company I'm one of the earliest engineers on a digital-twin + AI life-sciences platform, owning the frontend from scratch: React 19 + Vite + TailwindCSS, SSE-based streaming chat, agent "thinking process" visualization, tool-call rendering, and markdown rendering — took it from 0 through PoC/demo to an internal beta in about 3 months.
Before that, 4.5 years at a large telecom company building B2B enterprise platforms (video terminal management, cloud-PC/VDI monitoring, network device management). Highlights:
- Two full framework migrations: Angular 9 → Vue2, then Vue2 → Vue3, including iframe-based micro-frontend dual-stack coexistence while de-risking heavily coupled legacy code - Sole frontend owner on a cloud-PC operations/monitoring platform: built the entire Vue2 foundation (routing, permissions, i18n, component library) from zero, plus a JSON-config-driven reporting system covering 15–20+ reports with zero-code extensibility - Data visualization: Echarts monitoring dashboards, AntV G6 network topology, responsive big-screen layouts across varied hardware - Shipped a company-wide CI/code-quality dashboard (SonarQube + Jenkins) used by 100+ teams, earned the top performance rating and a promotion for it - Backfilled a Grafana plugin (custom Echarts flow visualization) after self-teaching React under deadline pressure
Comfortable owning frontend architecture end-to-end: from tooling/framework selection to shipping. I've been practicing AI-assisted development since ChatGPT's early days, using Cursor / Claude Code daily inside a disciplined spec-driven workflow (SDD + OpenSpec), treating AI as leverage for velocity, not a substitute for engineering judgment.
Open to full-time remote roles; willing to relocate for the right team.

I build systems end to end, can lead your team or help with achieving a specific short term objective. I am good at translating requirements into architecture & avoiding unnecessary costs. I can also teach you stuff (FP, type-level TypeScript, how to prompt coding agents to achieve good outcomes)
