Earlier quoted context omitted.

It's really bizarre that someone would prompt an LLM to write an article about how bad LLMs are, and then proudly publish the product.

It's really bizarre how many people come to Hacker News to bitch about LLMs

It's really bizarre that you would register a new account just for this, etc., etc.

I'm not bitching about LLMs. I'm bitching about this particular human operator's lack of introspection.

I mean, everyone has their bad days, but I still have a hard time believing that oracle…

I hope they turn out to be right. What the article describes is a ponzi scheme and Larry is deeply involved in it. Even if it was AI written is more to the point than the NYT article that goes on and on rambling about his private island and 23 year old Chinese wife. Why does it matter?

Late stage capitalism --- equity markets degenerate into thinly disguised ponzi schemes. Just like in a ponzi scheme, contractual obligations (aka debt) are now moving in a circular pattern among a handful of large AI players. And markets are accepting and treating this as "growth" --- all while the underlying business model is actually setting cash on fire. And just like any ponzi scheme, this can't continue indefin…

Is there anything more disingenuous that advocating for the involuntary destruction of all equity wealth by decrying occasional losses by consenting adults?

I'm sure this kills on Reddit, though.

Is there anything more disingenuous than advocating for Enron and Madoff style accounting and reporting gimmickry as being acceptable equity activity between "consenting adults"?
