That puff in the torus is just about right!
Unfortunately this is cloth so it's computationally demanding and I have since then lost what made this animation so satisfying (still iterating on it though!).
I managed to obtain more terrific assembly animations

and looking at it I think I need to start recording myself producing suctions sounds in sync with the inflation process whenever I click on the 'Inflate' button. So that when I have enough data, I can train a neuralnet to produce those sounds. That would be pretty awesome.

#38Now I'm curious, is there a state-of-the-art demo of realistic cloth/fabric? This looks cool, but it seems "frictionless" or something, it keeps moving forever after I touch it. It also seems to intersect itself or something.
