#7I'm a little perplexed by this. The "simulator" does not match an actual Windows 98 machine, and is lacking in a lot of the aesthetics. I get the idea, but I have to ask - was this vibe coded? Kind of goes against the website's general aesthetic and ethos.

I agree. I’m not impressed by this at all, and then there are some weird AI generated comments by new account accounts on this thread, too, which I don’t understand.
When you have showdead on (as I’m guessing you do), there are weird AI-generated comments by new accounts on every front-page thread, so I wouldn’t ascribe too much significance to that part.
