I could be wrong but I think you’ll want to consider changing the name. The parent post is on point, but companies won’t be attracted by the “cheap food” moniker. Even “budget food” is more palatable for a restaurant to associate with.

This was our biggest concern as well. I already talked to few owners and negative connotation was making them reluctant to be on the site.. We thought about different name like "under10" "dimedrop" "Fooglemap" but none of them stuck. (We did like the name Fooglemap, but similarity to Google map will create risk of cease and decease letter if it ever becomes major.. so decided not to do it.) Still torn on name change.…

This is great idea. Auto populate recipe and link to fill in shopping list on Amazon Fresh.

Or just find an appetizing dish in the book, jot down the ingredients, and visit a local market.

This strategy also enables alternate use-case discovery by interacting with subject-matter experts.

Thank you! Next.JS + TypeScript + Tailwind on Vercel.

1. Tailwind with a deliberately tiny palette. One accent color, system-ish fonts, defaults for almost everything else.

2. A mascot covers a multitude of sins. Chip the chipmunk shows up everywhere — badges, avatars, empty states, link preview cards.

3. I iterate UI with Claude Code in a tight loop: describe what feels off, look at the render, adjust, repeat. My job is judging the result, not pixel-pushing.

4. Steal layouts shamelessly from apps you already like. For utility apps, original layout is a liability — users want familiar.
