The Incumbent Bias: How Big Tech and VCs Devalue Independent Deep Tech

VCs and big tech are aligned with a system of 'value extraction'. What the author is engaged in is 'value creation', especially organically through distributed systems. Can't have that in the extractive 'squeeze the juice' model currently in play.
