Depends on what you want to use it for. As a mirror for git repositories? It works fine. Never used it as a "collaboration platform for development teams" so unsure how well it'd work for that. It has rough edges, not gonna lie, but they have a starting point at least, will see how it progresses I suppose. If federation is what you're out after, it seems like the strongest bet so far. Hopefully Forgejo/Codeberg gets there soon too and is interoperable as well, same for/with Radicle ideally, so they all can be interoperable.
