Help me be accountable with my time

#1
Hey people of the HN,

So here is the deal:

I want to work on a project. For that I need someone keep me accountable, like on a job.

Rules: - End of the day I'll share update what I did - If nothing substantial then I lose money (more below) - Doesn't count - weekends and sick days

If I don't post it I'll send 20$ to any charity (by poll)

I'll post updates here https://x.com/ab44997

Even one person is enough so I feel shame and -20$

x'D I feel you, I was also in same case as it tooks me months before shipping the first version of my side project. I am also an economist and we called it "Commitment Device" so don't feel ashamed as it's normal. I am honestly curious, what it will become

The best advice I've recieved was writen down what you made today and what you want to do the next, then next day you repeat the same process... But don't be rude with yourself, its like building a new habit it takes time and so you will probably missed some days
