You don't need to drive race cars to understand that a Tesla Model 3 stops faster than an 80s van with drum brakes. Sure, probably not as good as a sports car.

Agreed. I switched to an aftermarket catback (sxth single exit, lol) over the past year and while I really enjoyed the difference in tone, the increased volume level was just barely intolerable. So I'm back on the OEM one.

For good reason, they're not built for it. A relatively stock WRX is going to be destroyed after a few outings of hard driving on rough terrain[1]. The WRC winning Subarus[2] were fully built racecars from top to bottom and share only styling with the ones sold at dealerships. They're very fun and capable on solid pavement for a cheap car, but the rally pedigree is all marketing.

no one's complained (I don't even know if they notice), I just feel like it's obnoxious - I can feel the car arrive from the apt shaking haha
