It's still growing. Development is active, people post plenty of interesting stories. Commenting is slowly increasing. These things take time, and the core group of posters are still posting links on a daily basis which is what a nascent community needs to survive the initial "lull". I'm very hopeful for Lobsters.

Maybe it's just a side effect of the medium we are using, but everyone seems to have so much trouble being civil. Someday I'm going to invent a place where people can gather to learn technical skills from masters of the crafts, and socialize with like-minded enthusiasts.
