Hi there, my name is Jonathon and I'm a software engineer with 3+ years experience developing fullstack web applications. My experience lies in observability and AI engineering. Most recently, I created Trickl, an open-source, self-hosted metrics observability platform with intelligent cardinality control built in for small teams. I value empathy and great communication, and I'm looking for a team of like-minded individuals who want to create great software together. If this sounds like a great fit, I'd love to hear from you!

Won't take much of your time, as I often post here:

So lately I have been doing a couple of things:

- Programming related: GenAI/LLMs, Data Pipelines, automation, scraping, enterprise business process automation in Python, n8n, PHP, and a few other tech.

- Implementing browser and server-side tracking to optimize Meta Ad spend by sending visitors' behavior data to Meta and other platforms to let their AI systems learn more about the website and Ad campaign.

I'm looking for individuals/orgs who discuss their problems; I listen and provide solutions; that's what I love to do and am good at; dealing with both the tech and biz side. Can you offer such a combo? Do buzz me. I'm sure you won't regret it. Below are my credentials

I'm a senior developer who is good at taking your prototype ideas into a more stable form. I have been a developer ambassador at OpenAI, a developer relations at Algolia, and a software engineer at HBO. I can either help you communicate technical ideas internally or externally, or build something.

I'm a Senior Frontend Developer with 6+ years of experience.

I led the frontend development, set up clear processes that made our work much more visible and predictable for the business. I take ownership not only of my own code but also of adjacent areas, and I always try to think several years ahead when it comes to architecture and long-term maintainability.

Open to work: Senior Full-Stack Engineer (React/TypeScript/Node — AI-native)

Location: São Paulo, Brazil (UTC-3 — full overlap with US ET/CT, workable overlap with EU and ANZ)

Remote: Yes (remote-only, worldwide; contractor/B2B preferred)

Willing to relocate: No

Technologies: TypeScript, React, Next.js (App Router, SSR), Node.js, React Native, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Tailwind, REST/webhook integrations (Stays, Hostaway, WhatsApp/Meta APIs), Metabase, Docker, CI/CD. AI-native workflow: Claude Code/Cursor daily, multi-agent pipelines via Anthropic API, MCP.

Résumé/CV: https://alami.no/cv/dev/

Email: ricardo@alami.no

Senior full-stack engineer, 25+ years shipping software, Computer Engineering (University of São Paulo). Co-founded Gorila, one of Brazil's leading wealth-management fintechs — chose React Native to ship iOS and Android with a web team in 6 months (100k+ downloads), and as support director cut average ticket resolution from ~7 days to ~2 by rebuilding the workflow as a systems problem.

Currently I run Bookalyze, a BI platform for short-term rental management with paying B2B clients — designed, built, sold and operated solo, end to end. I work async by default: I write decisions down, unblock myself, and ship without supervision.

I treat AI as a thinking tool, not a shortcut — I architect and review, agents execute. This roughly triples my throughput without sacrificing code quality. Looking for: senior IC role at a product company (not agency/outsourcing), small senior team, async-friendly, USD/EUR contract. Fluent English, Spanish and Portuguese.
