#2Neat! I found TextEdit to be seriously lacking. The cross platform WYSIWYG editor landscape is very.. weak. Options are: Electron app, and even then sometimes there's game breaking bugs. Obsidian just as a text editor would be fantastic (the best WYSIWYG editor), but the flow to drag a file into the vault to manipulate it is cumbersome.

This. I've given serious thought to building a native Mac (swift) app thats a cross between the speed of Sublime with the toggleable WYSIWYG markdown capabilities of Obsidian.
