#182Connie Health is a fast-growing Medicare brokerage on a mission to empower older Americans to make confident, worry-free Medicare plan decisions. We offer a tech-enabled Medicare navigation platform that combines AI-driven technology with local Medicare experts to help people select optimal healthcare plans and navigate their benefits. Backed by leading investors such as Khosla Ventures, we are building technology to transform the trillion dollar Medicare insurance industry, impacting the lives of 67 million people in the US.
We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to own our data transformation layer end-to-end. You will build the clean, well-modeled, documented datasets that the entire company relies on, spanning board-level book-of-business reporting (policy count, retention, effectuation, commissions), stakeholder self-service through Looker, and AI-driven exploration through tools like Claude. This is a high-leverage senior IC role: the quality of our analytics, forecasts, and operating decisions all depend on the foundation you build. You'll partner directly with Engineering, Finance, and Operations to fix data quality at the source, not downstream.
Tech stack: SQL, dbt, Redshift, Postgres, Looker (+ LookML), Fivetran, Airflow, Salesforce
We're looking for 5+ years in analytics/data engineering, deep hands-on dbt experience, strong SQL, and a track record of turning messy datasets into a trusted single source of truth. Bonus points for retention/lifecycle modeling, Looker administration, prepping datasets for AI consumption, or Medicare/insurance experience.
This is a hybrid position in our new Boston office near South Station, so local candidates only please. Unfortunately we are unable to do visa sponsorships at this time. Apply: https://recruiting.paylocity.com/recruiting/jobs/Details/422...
I am Huan, CTO at Connie Health. If you are interested, please feel free to reach out to me directly with your resume: huan.lai (at) conniehealth.com !

#183I pressed Ctrl-F and search for some programming language names. So amazed by how popular Python, Typescript, and Rust these days. The day of enterprise Java & C# domination have now gone.

#186Opendate builds the ticketing platform powering independent music venues across North America.
We're looking for a senior engineer who is pushing the boundaries of AI-assisted software development.
Everyone says they use AI. We're looking for someone who has gone much further—someone who is constantly experimenting with new workflows, building agents, automating entire pieces of development, and rethinking what one engineer can accomplish.
Our engineering team believes AI is fundamentally changing what great engineering looks like. We want people who are helping define that future—not waiting for someone else to.
Our stack includes Ruby on Rails, React, PostgreSQL, AWS, Sidekiq, and Stripe, but we're far more interested in how you build than the specific technologies you've used.
If you're excited by questions like:
How can AI own an entire feature from design to deployment? What engineering work still requires humans, and what should be automated? How do we move dramatically faster while maintaining an exceptionally high bar for quality? What does an engineering organization look like when every engineer has AI teammates?
...you'll probably enjoy working with us.
If this resonates, we'd love to hear from you.

#188ViyaMD is building a physician-grade clinical intelligence platform for legal, insurance, and healthcare teams. We analyze large, messy medical record sets and turn them into clinically accurate timelines, reasoning, and insights in minutes.
We’re hiring for two senior roles:
# Staff Software Engineer: Own core product and platform systems: medical record ingestion, document understanding pipelines, backend/data infrastructure, clinical workflow, and production reliability.
We’re looking for:
* 5–8+ years of software engineering experience
* Strong Python/Typescript/backend engineering skills
* Experience with distributed systems, data-intensive apps, or large-scale document processing
* Ability to own ambiguous problems from architecture through production
* Interest in healthcare, clinical data, legal-tech, or AI products
# Staff ML Engineer: Own how ViyaMD evaluates and improves its clinical AI: define eval metrics, run model/agent evaluations, improve prompts and workflows, and close the loop through better retrieval, agentic systems, and fine-tuned models.
We’re looking for:
* 5–8+ years of professional experience
* Strong hands-on AI/ML evaluation experience
* Experience with LLMs, RAG, agents, fine-tuning, or applied ML systems
* Fluency in Python
* Healthcare or clinical experience is a strong plus, but not required
We’re especially excited about people who want to set the technical bar, work close to real users and data, and build AI systems that must be accurate and trusted in high-stakes domains.
You'd work directly with our founding team, with real influence over how we build. Comp: competitive salary, meaningful early-stage equity, and benefits. Email me at hari AT viyamd.com, if you're interested.
