Since we don't have objective benchmarks we can all agree on, there only person who can answer that is you. Ignoring the fact that Fable 5 currently isn't available, I've found codex 5.5 > Opus 4.8 for most of the specific tasks I've bothered to compare against, though Opus 4.8 comes ahead in a couple of them, so it's down to how much you like their respective harnesses.
