I understand that Apple likes to prematurely depreciate technology. They did well to kill the floppy disk in 2000. I will never forgive them for doing away with usb-a. I used it today (made a Debian usb drive), yesterday (printer doesn’t really work over the network reliably). And every day before (keyboards and mice don’t come in usb-c).

#4A manual toothbrush. For some reason I enjoy it better than an electric. Same for shaving. I use a safety razor shaver and a shaving brush.
I like my morning ritual to be more of a mindful zen style activity.

#9Piano, film cameras, FM radio, mercury thermostat, propane powered backup electric generator, coffee. CB radio, but nobody's on the other end. Moleskine or similar notebook. Three-ring when I get really serious. Magnets on the fridge to plan my meals and remind me to take medicine.
