I've decided to no longer post here after the incredible amount of spam I started receiving, both in terms of direct email submissions as well as unqualified and outright fraudulent applications to my application tracking system. By fraudulent I mean: fake resumes, names stolen from real developers who work at well-known companies but either don't have a linkedin/portfolio or do have a linkedin/portfolio without a pr…

It is absolutely painful for interviewers and candidates. I used to be able to email managers & founders directly and discuss what they were looking for... today everybody is navigating a deluge of spam and the interview process is becoming dysfunctional.

Hotwash | Founding Engineer (→ CTO for the right person) | REMOTE (US), Boston a plus | Full-time I'm a solo founder. I built the entire product myself, got 11 fire departments paying with zero churn, and now I need someone to own engineering so I can't be the only one who does. West Point, Ranger Regiment, Yale Law, still the only developer. What we do: Hotwash is an after-action review platform for fire departments…

Just dropping-in to say that I love this idea. Sadly not a full-stack engineer but will follow your progress!

Same here. I am a full-stack engineer but I'm not senior enough for this kind of role. Hope you find someone!

z0.ai | Full Time | Founding Engineer | On Site 5 days a week | NYC | $140-$180k USD + equity

We're helping non technical users adopt AI by making usage visible. Power users become role models and people can upskill to gain value rather than lose their jobs to AI.

It's a complex problem because we need to balance trivial UX, with a slew of security and compliance requirements.

This is the first non founder developer role on the z0.ai codebase. We need someone who can own the full stack end to end: product surfaces people enjoy using, services that stay correct, and the taste to make both feel like one product.

We're funded and are live with our first customer already. We expect to onboard our next customer later this week and are actively ramping up sales efforts.

Check out the full job posting at https://www.z0.ai/careers/founding-engineer/ and send an email to join@z0.ai

Beatdapp | Machine Learning (ML) Engineer | Vancouver, Canada | ONSITE (Hybrid) | Full-time

Beatdapp is a ~50-person startup delivering audio and streaming integrity technology to media platforms. We process data at TB/PB scale to protect the royalty ecosystem, generate authentic recommendations, and detect AI-generated content.

We are looking for an experienced ML engineer (+3 years) to work on our inference systems and data platform. In this role, you will be executing ML engineering, cloud platform/infrastructure design, and building ML model inference systems. You'll be a good fit if you have deep experience across different data stores, distributed systems, caching, and data transfer protocols. Our team manages and maintains integrated software systems, including inference containers, data processing pipelines, and feature stores/generation platforms.

Stack: Multi-cloud (AWS, GCP), Docker, Airflow, Python, MLflow, BigQuery, SQL, S3, GCS, GitHub Actions, Terraform.

The team is collaborative, and low-ego - we're looking for talented engineers who are comfortable working on projects that move at the pace of weeks rather than months and who love learning. Nice-to-haves include experience with audio/media systems, signal processing/spectograms, speech detection systems, computer vision, GPU hardware development, and event streaming systems.

Earlier quoted context omitted.

Do people write books on phones?

I've got a butterfly bluetooth keyboard paired to my phone that I can fit in a pocket. There's a usefulness to being able to write just about anywhere using only tools that fit in your pocket.

What's the keyboard? I'm intrigued

Sudowrite/H++ | Right Hand to the CEO | REMOTE (US) or Honolulu | 80-130K + equity + profit share

Hi, I'm Amit, co-founder of Sudowrite. Every other post in this thread is hiring someone to build software. I'm hiring someone to help build the company.

Our company is weird. No VCs, 30,000+ paying users, 3+ years of profitability, and the nicest coworkers you've ever worked with.

You should read the job listing even if you don't want the job b/c it is the best one here:
