Senior iOS engineer / Apple-platform consultant with 12+ years of experience.

I build and fix iOS and Vision Pro apps from medical devices and high-traffic consumer apps to vibecoded startups. I also help teams get difficult apps approved: App Store rejection triage, reviewer-note/metadata fixes, and fractional senior iOS support for startups.

I build production AI systems — agent runtimes, LLM tooling, RAG — and the backends behind them, in Rust where reliability matters and Python/TypeScript to move fast with a team. Most recently I wrote the core of Ward in Rust myself (agent runtime, analytics layer, multi-tenant audit/security model); it runs in a paid POC against a $400M, 850-store retailer's live SAP data. Before that I co-founded a YC W24 startup, took a Meta Marketplace product from zero to ~10k monthly transactions, and re-platformed a failing commerce backend to Rust that cut its AWS bill ~70%. ~10 years across fintech, healthtech, and commerce.

If you need to declutter your app, simplify the flows, or just make it look better, I'm your man. And I can code everything I draw, so there's no haggling between design and development :-) Avid prototyper, and I ship my own small products + some OSS — https://github.com/josefrichter. Past: Enaia, Medable, T-Mobile, Vodafone — 764 PRs in my current role, so "I build" is real.
