“Too dangerous to release” or just too expensive?

OpenAI already used the same playbook with GPT-2 in 2019, and some of the same people involved back then are now doing it again at Anthropic with Mythos. Same safety-branding DNA, different company, and people are falling for it again.

its pretty obvious they just dont have the compute for it.

It's WordPress, which is a great CMS but can quickly crumble under load when using cheap hosting.

So I assume it's because it's not statically build, but requires a DB connection all the time?
