#442At Maiven Energy, we're working on real-world problems at the intersection of responsible AI and residential energy. Our aim is to make energy upgrades smarter, faster, and more accessible, while helping reduce carbon emissions. We're a small, mission-driven team punching way above our weight: we have large utility customers, contracts in multiple states, and a growing pipeline of programs launching later this year. We're venture backed and moving fast.
We're hiring for three positions (US only):
- Full-Stack Engineer – NestJS, React, Tailwind, TypeScript, Node, Postgres, AWS, Lambdas. [1]
- Energy Modeling Engineer – Python, pandas, AWS, modeling frameworks (ResStock, OpenStudio, etc.). Experience with energy programs or building science is a huge plus. [2]
- UX/UI Designer [no link]
Looking for builders who want real ownership, thrive in early-stage startups, and move with urgency and care. More: https://www.askmaiven.com
To apply: email hiring _at_ askmaiven.com. Generic, AI generated cover letters and resumes are discouraged.

Open to visa sponsorship for London on-site?
Yes
Asking because on the careers page, I only see Staff/Principal/Tech Lead roles.
I am very product obsessed. I care a lot about building the right thing and building it the right way, not just writing cool code. I have a pretty strong sense for balancing speed vs code quality. I know when to just ship and when something needs to be done properly.

#450We're a seed stage (VC backend) company building a vertically integrated design and manufacturing platform for precision mechanical parts. We are developing our own CAD/CAM software running on top of our own manufacturing facility. The team has previously developed CAD kernels, design software, and autonomous robotic manipulators, and comes from Amazon Robotics, Siemens, nTop, and Vicarious Surgical.
Most design and manufacturing software companies treat the factory as a black box and optimize geometry in isolation. Our bet is that the only way to really bring software and ML into design and manufacturing is to own the full process ourselves. The platform you'd help build includes: customer-facing design software, the ML engine that turns CAD files into machine instructions (G-code), the simulation layer, and the shop floor operations themselves.
We are looking for someone independently driven who wants to operate like a founder. You'd own architecture, help shape the company's vision, and build a product from the ground up. If you've worked on cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, CAD/CAM software dev, geometry kernels, robotic perception, motion control, or spent time on a shop floor, we'd like to talk. We are open to sponsoring visas for the right candidate.
Roles:
Founding Computational Geometry Engineer: Hybrid B-rep + SDF kernel work. STEP AP242 ingestion, B-rep surgery, feature recognition, and the geometry layer underneath our DFM and CAM pipelines. If you've worked on Parasolid, OCCT, nTop, or shipped anything that touches BRep diff, parametric replay, or differentiable geometry, we want to talk. C++ and Python.
Founding Full-Stack Engineer: Someone who can take ownership of the reliability, automation, and evolution of our core systems that tie into our CAD/CAM software, internal shop-floor systems. You’ll work across the stack, with a strong emphasis on backend, infrastructure, and system-level engineering, to strengthen the foundations that everything else runs on. This role is for someone who enjoys digging into complex systems, building the architecture and tooling to keep them running reliably (including the frontend).
