Open to contract work or potentially full-time roles for the right fit.

Machine learning engineer with 8 years of startup experience building production systems for audio, robotic perception, and edge deployment. Specialties in deep learning for audio/DSP, distributed training infrastructure, and shipping models to embedded hardware.

Currently exploring LLM and agent tooling through side projects, and open to roles that combine that with my core background.

What I do: I build agentic systems and full-stack infrastructure — things that ship, observe themselves, and run autonomously.

Recent work:

- Founding contributor at NimbleBrain: designed the agentic loop and workflow engine that guides AI agents through building and publishing MCP server integrations end-to-end

- Co-created Vispyr: self-hosted observability platform on AWS with automated infra provisioning, OTel instrumentation, and a full Grafana telemetry stack

- Mozilla Firefox contributor: accessibility and DevTools CSS refactors

Stack I reach for: Python, TypeScript, AWS, Docker, PostgreSQL, Grafana stack, OpenTelemetry, MCP

AI-native: I build with Claude Code daily. Comfortable across the agentic toolchain — RAG, vector DBs, MCP, context engineering.

I am an experienced, driven, motivated engineer who is looking for high-agency, high-impact problems to solve. Bonus points for roles that are a positive impact on society.

Looking for remote roles in majority remote teams. I'm comfortable in startups and large corporations, I just want to ship fast on things that matter.

Postgres/Snowflake/DuckDB, Typescript, Python, AWS, Docker, LLMs and related tech - but I love learning new languages. I ask a lot of questions, and think in terms of processes and systems. I use and build agents and love a good SQL query.

Infrastructure/platform engineer, 20 years in. Usually the first infra hire — comfortable inheriting whatever exists and turning it into something production-grade.

Most recently built Ginkgo Bioworks' ML model serving platform and multi-tenant GKE infrastructure from scratch (joined via the Reverie Labs acquisition). Before that, was sole infra engineer at Reverie — built their entire AWS platform from the first commit, ran EKS clusters, and supported GPU workloads for computational drug discovery.

Looking for early-stage teams solving hard problems in interesting domains. I value a culture of trust, ownership, and room to build.
