Hah :D. A friend of mine used this term wrt to Roomba (robotic vacuum cleaner) having high WAF (and implying that his 3D printer hobby has a much lower one). Good to know this term is in use :).

Yes, everyone is ignoring all that hard work that Susan B. Anthony did getting everyone to acknowledge that women are equally likely to want to put obnoxious consumer electronics in their living rooms.

Not that this isn't ridiculous, but the article does discuss spouse approval which seems like a totally acceptable term to me.
