I'm a back end developer with QA and DevOps experience. I'm an oldschool nerd from the era when we went and figured things out and got work done. Looking for a small company or startup that isn't a wrapper around an LLM API, and isn't pushing AI slop internally.

Software engineer focused on backend systems, developer tooling, and AI infrastructure. Built a TypeScript SDK and orchestration layer for mpak(https://mpak.dev) - an open-source registry used in AI agent pipelines, plus an LLM gateway with semantic caching and routing to reduce latency and cost. Experience with RAG systems, vector DBs, and AWS. Mozilla Firefox contributor. Looking for roles in backend or AI infra.

I work at the intersection of SEO, AI, and distribution for SaaS and tech companies.

My role is usually to help founders and non-technical decision-makers turn business goals into clearer execution: better positioning, sharper content strategy, stronger market understanding, and practical AI usage tied to outcomes.

I’m not a pure developer. I’m the person who helps connect strategy, execution, and technical understanding without the usual fluff.

Best fit: SaaS, Web3, B2B tech, founder-led companies, and teams that need clarity as much as execution.

Available for freelance, consulting, or part-time strategic support.

Hi. My name is Josh and I have spent over twelve years of my fourteen year career in DevOps and automation.

In my early career, I maintained legacy build and delivery systems while transitioning organizations to modern tooling. At my most recent role, I built those same systems and production infrastructure from the ground up, while simultaneously finding and filling unidentified organizational gaps: legal compliance, IT, and customer support.

My experience spans IC work, legacy system ownership, and greenfield development, in close collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. I am ready to lead teams and grow the engineers within them.

If you're looking for a technical leader to head up your DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure/Platform team, or to shape engineering at the organizational level, I have the experience and the tenacity to get it done.
