I built Vibe Remote because I wanted to code from my bed or the park without lugging a laptop around.

With tools like Claude Code, Codex, and Gemini-cli, we don't need a full IDE for every task anymore. Vibe Remote turns your phone into a powerful remote console.

i haven't tried it yet, but i have a question. Does it still work even when my macbook is in sleep mode?

Great question! To be honest, I've kept my screen on for several weeks straight just to use this without any interruption :)

Great question! To be honest, I've kept my screen on for several weeks straight just to use this without any interruption :)

i had a feeling it might need to be that way, so i asked LoL~ Still, i think it's gret that it works without tailscale or any other dependencies. thaks for sharing such a greate project

Thanks! I really wanted it to work seamlessly even when you're outside your home network, without forcing people to mess with VPNs or Tailscale. Glad you're finding that zero-dependency approach useful!
