Anybody else being annoyed by all this focus on em-dash use to detect AI? In no time, the bad guys will tell their BS machines to avoid em-dashes and "it's not X it's Y" and whatever else people use as "tell-tale signs" and eventually the training data will have picked up on that too. And people who genuinely use em-dashes for taste reasons or are otherwise using expressions considered typical for AI are getting a ba…
This is turning out to be a huge issue for me as my frequent use of em-dashes makes my remarks trigger people effectively disrupting attempts to communicate. Maybe my communication needs to change or maybe these objections are yet another red flag to watch for.

Everybody else looks for em dashes. For me that is the number 1 tell of AI.

#334Input: [Nietzsche](https://translate.kagi.com/?from=en&to=linkedin&text=God+is+...)
Output:
Big announcement: The legacy "God" system is officially decommissioned. We’ve completely disrupted the old paradigm, but it leaves us with a massive leadership vacuum. How do we pivot as the ultimate disruptors?
We’ve sunsetted the most established brand the world has ever seen. Now, we’re facing a major PR challenge: how do we rebrand this blood on our hands? What’s our new strategy for corporate social responsibility?
It’s time to innovate new rituals and high-performance games to fill the gap. This disruption is huge—maybe the biggest market shift in history. To stay competitive and worthy of this new landscape, we need to level up our personal branding and literally become the new industry leaders.

#335It would be an idea for someone to make a browser plugin that used Kagi Translate to do the reverse translation while visiting LinkedIn.
I'm on the phone now, but you should be able to already do it. install the Kagi translate browser extension, and use it to do this. I will try it myself in a few hours xD

#339I tried Kagi twice and found out that its search results are no better than what any other free search engine can deliver. Why is it shilled on HN so much? Am I missing something?
Probably because that’s not most people’s experience. Google is just pages of the same AI generated content. DDG, once good, seems even worse. Searx and the like are slow and results are mixed. Kagi, for me at least, seems to find the actual gems you’re looking for. It feels like Google used to feel back in 05. That’s why people shill it.

#340I’m thrilled to share that I’ve taken decisive action to disrupt the status quo and advocate for the hardworking community.
Sometimes, leadership requires making the tough calls that others won't, even when it means facing significant personal sacrifices. While I’m fully committed to the impact of my recent "project," my only regret is the lack of work-life balance that prevented a final 1:1 with my mentor (Dad).
