SEEKING WORK | Senior Frontend Engineer | Portugal | Remote | Open to B2B

I'm a senior Frontend Engineer with 8 years of professional experience, currently looking for new opportunities (remote-first, ideally working with US or global teams).

Most of my work has been around building and scaling production-grade web applications using React and Next.js, with a strong focus on:

- Performance (Core Web Vitals, SSR/SSG, bundle optimization) - Clean architecture and maintainability - Design systems and component libraries - Frontend testing (Jest, React Testing Library) - CI/CD, code reviews and engineering best practices

Beyond individual contribution, I have experience leading small frontend teams and acting as a technical point of reference. I'm comfortable breaking down product ideas into clear, actionable tasks, helping shape pragmatic roadmaps, and aligning engineering work with product goals.

I've worked in both large organizations and fast-moving teams, and I'm particularly comfortable in environments where engineers own problems end-to-end.

Technically, I'm comfortable with: - React, Next.js, Vue.js, TypeScript - Modern CSS (Tailwind), accessibility, and responsive design - API integration, auth flows, and SSR-heavy setups - Working closely with product, design and backend teams

I'm especially interested in teams that value engineering quality, autonomy, and thoughtful product development.
