Highly-experienced principal software engineer (and sometimes co-founder or founding engineer) who likes to get their hands dirty, whether it's doing "all the things" in a startup, helping an entire company to work together effectively, or focusing on designing and implementing that one piece that really must work correctly+reliably+securely+maintainably.

My ideal role would be in an early startup, of good people, doing something beneficial to society. First refining the product concept and MVP, and building and shipping it. Then growing and nurturing teams of highly effective people who are aligned with the shared mission.

(Heads-up that I don't do L**tC*de, from either side of the interview table, and I'm not interested in any company doing bl*ckch**n.)

Hi! I'm a computational scientist transitioning fully out of the wet lab into a purely software/data-focused role. My core strengths are in building/testing automated data pipelines. In my previous role, I developed a MATLAB codebase that analyzed neurophysiological data to identify multiple groups of clinical biomarkers in animal models. On my Github you can find a simplified version of this rebuilt using Python, Docker, Nextflow, and Pytest to visualize complex time-series data.

Starting Georgia Tech's OMSCS program in January to deepen CS fundamentals.

I'm looking for a full-time position within computational science, bioinformatics, QA automation/SDET, SRE, or types of Python-focused tech support/data analyst roles. I'm a quick learner and am really eager to pick up additional stacks and technologies.
