Worst case, you can work 8hrs during the day and study 3hrs in the evening with or without Red Bull: in both cases you’ll end up burnt out, you can just force it for a few months more with drugs.

There is actually meticulous financial planning required to stay afloat for 2+ years, and i do think it correlates with my professional abilities! Sure, it was reckless to leave but the alternative was to stay and fall into a depression from the routine, constant rejection and financial diet, so i picked what i had to.
I'm not entirely convinced wrt your meticulous financial planning. I think I was earning less than you yet managed to save the vast majority over my 15 year career earnings. Then my partner died and I was left raising a toddler by myself. It wasn't easy, but at least I don't have financial problems, thanks to a little financial planning.

My first instinct is to run from the cops no matter what just because I've been assaulted by them enough for one lifetime. One doesn't have to be breaking any law to end up targeted by some crazy cop, American police are like rabid animals.

I've gone back to education, having found a free course in computer hardware. (I really know only software and web, and have till now kept away from hardware.) However, taking the course for some reason interferes with my unemployment benefits, so I'm going to have to juggle some stuff. Apparently one option is to take the one-year course part time over two years. The other option, of course, is to find a job that pays enough to get by on without taking up too much time.
