> "rules for job seekers, Carte blanche for companies" Sums it up nicely.

When I look at the top text, I see at least 2 rules that apply to companies. Edit: Btw, please don't use quotation marks to make it look like you're quoting someone when you aren't: https://hn.algolia.com/?dateRange=all&page=0&prefix=true&que... Edit 2: sorry, I was totally wrong about that! see https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=45106871

>please don't use quotation marks to make it look like you're quoting someone when you aren't

I searched thru algolia and that quote came at first from user queSide 1 month ago, not by mixmastamyk. Unless they're the same person or the search is flawed

Great Question | Director of Engineering | Full time, Remote (USA/Canada)

Great Question is a unified customer research platform used and loved by teams at companies like Amazon, Canva & Brex. Our platform makes it easy for anyone to recruit research participants, schedule customer interviews, and share what you learn with your team all in one place.

We're third-time founders, backed by Y Combinator, building a company for the long-term, with a great team across the board, and shipping at a rapid yet sustainable pace.

We use Ruby on Rails, React, Postgres. We run on AWS.

We're looking for our first non-founder engineering leader to help us keep the trains running on time.

We've built an awesome team + culture at the company, high candor + EQ environment and we ship. We also welcome applicants who have previously run their own startups, with a bunch ex-founders on the team from the likes of Respondent and Indiegogo.

Huh? I cut and pasted from your first link above. Also you removed/downvoted my request that asked posters to identify regions they are hiring from, specifically one about Stockholm. I’m curious what motivates such actions.

Oh sorry, I totally missed that! Your use of quotation marks was just fine. I thought you were being snarky (as people sometimes do) and apologize for making the wrong assumption.

> Also you removed/downvoted my request that asked posters to identify regions they are hiring from

Do you mean https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=45095800? I didn't remove or downvote it. I did detach it from https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=45095292 because it seemed to be a general comment that belonged at the top level, rather than a response to a particular job ad.
