At this point, I would not advise kids to go into programming.
Not because I’m certain that the jobs won’t be there, but because I think it’s a credible risk. A career is too important to gamble.

I'm sure there will be a market for artisanal, hand-crafted code. If not, just do it for yourself.
yeah; the market of companies who need people who can still code when their vibe coding-fueled tech debt goes to the moon and making heads or tails of their stacks becomes impossible.
