Looking at the issue tracker it sounds like they've made significant progress since then.
iOS emulated in QEMU with:
• Restore / Boot
• Software rendering
• Kernel and userspace debugging
• Pairing with the host
• Serial / SSH access
• Multitouch
• Network
• Install and run any arbitrary IPA
