Data/Backend engineer for the past ten years (Java, Python, SQL). Experience building data platforms (from scratch!) and ELT pipelines for financial data, but happy to work at any level for any problem that needs solving. Would love to work on product management, solutions architecture, or customer engineering. Remote is preferred for time zones spanning Europe to India; onsite/hybrid in Mumbai is also great. Unfortunately cannot relocate.

I am Marc S Galli, an evangelist, technical writer, and web producer. I am interested in helping build products for users. I started my career working for a browser vendor, under marketing, creating DHTML demonstrations, technotes, and helping with the product. I have experience with open-source development and tools, start-up experience and product design experience. I came from the world of prototypes but ultimately enjoy being a builder. A builder, through writing, as writing helps me to collaborate and build better things. Check https://mgalli.com/

I created https://github.com/spirodonfl/htmx-offline-mode.

I've been programming for almost 25 years now. My skills range from websites to desktop applications to native mobile apps and more.

You can look at over a years worth of content where I build a video game in Zig, Odin and now C, compiled to WASM, running on the browser with no hardware acceleration, no canvas, no webgpu, no webgl, vanilla HTML, vanilla CSS (and css3d, btw), vanilla JS, all div elements, just to show it's possible. https://www.youtube.com/@SpiroFloropoulos

Team engagement, mentoring, hiring, devrel, content creation are all additional skills.
