I've always found this organizational metaphor interesting and wondered if others had considered creating alternative paradigms beyond the desktop to support modern computer use-cases.

Should we expect to see a new UX paradigm for interacting with computers considering how different a modern workflow is from what the desktop was originally designed to handle?
