As article says, the easiest solution to the problem of "exactly once" delivery is to attempt until it's confirmed and ensure the extra attempts safe to try.

It's particularly interesting, even with durable execution workflows, the need for idempotency to ensure exactly-once delivery.

#4My theory is that the word weirds people out and they are unsure how to pronounce it, they don't want to embarrass themselves in front of their colleagues so they just avoid the concept altogether.
