South Korea faces kimchi shortage as cabbage prices soar

Cabbages.

Back in north Florida they used to have quite a few cabbage farms between Gainesville and Jacksonville.

Not much else, there was quite a distance between very small communities and not many places to stop or get gasoline.

There were more roadside produce stands than that, where the only produce offered was usually cabbage. Often at a crossroads between a dirt farm road and the two-lane highway with fast moving cars and eighteen-wheelers. And nothing else at the crossroads except for the lonely little cabbage stand.

Naturally the eighteen wheelers were often overloaded with cabbage :)

Some even cab-over ;)

Very few people were inclined to stop, it wasn't Chinese cabbage anyway ;)

One of the farmers was trying to give motorists more incentive to buy some, and had a big sign; Cabbage - Slaw Down.

I thought he was out standing in his field.
