Reading this made my brain blow a gasket. Yes, computers have sleep mode. News at 11.

#5So, aesthetics. Interesting that they advocate never turning off the machine. What about component wear and tear, software issues, and the need to clear RAM?

if wear and tear occurs or your ram fills up, you buy a new machine. simple
(and i absolutely understand that ram is temporary memory)
