Hi HN, creator here. The Living Museum is an experimental interface that uses AI to bring the British Museum's collection to life.

The two main contributions are: 1. Using natural language, you can craft personalized exhibits for anything you can think of. 2. You can start a conversation with any artifact, about its origins, what life was like in its time, or anything really.

With this project, I tried to show how modern technology like AI could be additive to the museum experience. I believe interactivity will help people build more meaningful, lasting connections with the past than today's relatively passive modes of education.

Congrats for shipping! The infinite canvas looks amazing, and search function is super slick. Works really nice on mobile, too

Nice work a lot of the artifacts were discussed on the history of the world in 100 objects podcast a few years ago
