I think AI + deepfakes will increase the value pressure on in-person interactions - ie, the only time when you can (for now) believe your eyes and ears. I wonder how politics can be transacted in such an environment. Old-timey first-past-the-post might be the optimal solution if you can't trust anything from out of earshot.

The process of politicians debating and getting elected is going to have to be much more local. Just look at how easy it is to spread misinformation now.
